Strength training is essential especially as we age. It helps fight off osteoporosis, increases our bone density and overall helps us stay out of nursing homes, to name a few benefits. Unfortunately, strength training has received some negative attention in the CrossFit world because we often hear things like “I don’t want to get bulky” or “I don’t want to look like a dude.” We totally get it and are here to educate and support you on why strength training is super essential to ANY physical activity and helping you achieve your goals.
